Alternative Therapy MD is Easton, Maryland’s must-visit wellness & aesthetic medical spa. Our team of experienced nurses are here to provide customized services to all our clients. Alternative Therapy MD specializes in a proactive approach to medicine, from medical grade weight loss, complex skin care conditions, cosmetic injections, IV hydration therapy, and Morpheus 8 RF microneedling. The Nurses of Alternative Therapy MD will help boost internal well-being and provide personalized care education to all who walk through the door.

MEET The Owners

Alternative Therapy MD was founded by two passionate sisters with an extensive background in wellness and physiology. Jessie MSN, CRNP- FNP, and Kellie BSN, RN, grew up on the Eastern Shore and pursued advanced degrees in Nursing, Applied Health Physiology and Exercise Science from Salisbury University.  Both sisters started their nursing careers in the Intensive Care Unit with a focus on alternative pain management options for patients. Fueled by their passion and undeniable synchronicity, the sisters joined together to create Alternative Therapy MD. Jessie and Kellie are not only the owners, but the clinical directors who guide and educate patients on all aspects of wellness.

Jessie

MSN, CRNP- FNP

Jessie is one of the passionate sisters and owners of Alternative Therapy MD. Her background in Health Physiology propelled her love for a proactive approach to health and wellness. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury University in Exercise Science where she taught collegiality in the Health & Science department. She returned to Salisbury University receiving a Master’s in Applied Health Physiology focusing on sports nutrition and cardiopulmonary health management. Returning yet again to Salisbury University she received her BSN in Nursing. Ending her education journey, she earned a terminal degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Frostburg University. Jessie loves and excels in all thing’s wellness and takes a proactive approach to health. She loves raising mini horses, going on the Pontoon with her family and exercising!

Kellie

BSN

Kellie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury University in Exercise Science and received her Bachelors in Nursing. She started her career in ICU and then ventured out into home care nursing. She enjoys spending time with her family (Husband and Daughters), her Dog Pepper, and goats Trixie, Jim and Ragnar. She also enjoys adventures outdoors to include snowboarding, boating, fishing, skeet shooting, and geocaching. As well as reading when she has some free time!

Kristy

BSN, RN

Kristy has been a nurse for 11 years. She graduated from Salisbury University with her BSN. Previously she has worked at John Hopkins as a Registered Certified Psych Nurse and then spent 5 years working in Home Health Care. She has been a part of the Alternative Therapy family since 2021. Kristy enjoys working out, reading, and gardening when she is not spending time with her husband and two children.

Paige

BSN, RN

Paige has been a Registered Nurse for over 4 years. She received her ADN from Chesapeake College and her BSN from American Public University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington College. She is currently enrolled at Frostburg University in their Family Nurse Practitioner program. Paige joined the Alternative Therapy team in January, 2023. When she is not at Alternative Therapy, she enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sarah

BSN, RN

Sarah has been a nurse for 7 years.  She graduated from Wesley College with her BSN.  Sarah worked in the ICU, ER and in Home Health prior to joining Alternative Therapy in 2023.  Sarah enjoys living on a farm with her husband and two boys.   When she isn’t caring for humans or animals she and the boys love to venture to the river to fish and crab.

Julia

BSN, RN

Jules graduated with her Associate’s in Nursing from Chesapeake College and obtained her BSN from Frostburg State University. She also holds a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Animal Science from Virginia Tech. Jules has 5 years of nursing experience in Oncology, Labor and Delivery, and Home Health. When she’s not in scrubs, Jules is soaking up the sunshine with her husband and two daughters, Jade and Jovi – always with SPF on hand. Boating, swimming, camping, and skiing are some of their favorite activities to enjoy together.

Hailey

 MA, CNA

Hailey is a certified nursing assistant and medical assistant. She has worked in healthcare since high school, previously working in home health, primary care, and hospice. She is continuing her education to become a registered nurse. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. When not working, she loves camping, reading, and taking a nice nap with her cat.

Shannon

 MA

Shannon has a degree in Business Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2018, after 20 years of working in fashion and restaurant management, she began her career at Alternative Therapy MD.  She prides herself on the well-being of her clients, which is her top priority.  Working at Alternative Therapy MD inspired Shannon to attend Chesapeake College to continue her education in the medical field and she received her Medical Assistant Certification. When not working, Shannon enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach.

Shannon Daly, MA

MSN, RN

Kelly Williams MSN, RN Kelly has been a nurse for 12 years. She graduated from Wilmington University with her MSN. She has worked in the emergency department for 11 years and continues to work as the Professional Practice Specialist for the Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center at Children’s National Hospital in D.C. She joined the team at Alternative Therapy in 2023 where she performs IV therapies and injections on the weekends. Kelly enjoys traveling, watching ice hockey, and shooting with her three adult sons.
